Coupons are currently supported only in Display Dynamic Ads for Criteo, including Slider Ads. Below, we've gathered all the information you need to create your ads effectively:

  • Coupon Placement:

Coupons are always positioned on top of the layer panel in Display Dynamic Slider Ads. They cannot be placed inside or below the Slider Group. If you attempt to perform one of those actions, you will receive the following notifications:

  • Coupons can’t be converted into Dynamic elements.

  • One Coupon per Ad:

You can include only one coupon element in an ad. You’ll notice that the “Coupon” option will grey out from the drop-down menu if there’s already one added to the ad.

  • Destination URL:

The destination URL specified for coupons will take precedence. If you've set a URL for your coupon, it will be the link users land on when interacting with the coupon. Keep in mind the following prioritization when dealing with different:

  • Coupon Destination URL: Highest Priority - Coupon destination URLs override Dynamic Click Areas and the Landing Page URL.

  • Dynamic Click Area (Product Specific): Medium Priority - Dynamic Click Areas only override the Landing Page URL.

  • Landing Page URL: Lowest Priority - The ad will only redirect to the Landing Page URL when no other click layer element is present.

  • Visibility:

Coupons are placed outside the Slider element, making them visible in all dynamic conditions added to the ad set.
