If you’re in this article is because you’ve already created a Display Dynamic Ad Set for Criteo and you’re interested in including a Coupon element to it.
From the ad editor, click on the “+” menu and click on "Coupon".
It’s time to upload your coupons to the library by dragging them from your device or browsing the files.
💡 Good to know! Coupons are image type files and therefore, the specifications that follow are the same as any other image type element. To successfully upload coupons in Bannerwise, ensure they meet the following requirements:
The file has to be a .jp(e)g, .png, .svg or .gif
The maximum file size is 2MB
The maximum height of an image in pixels is 10.000
The maximum width of an image in pixels is 10.000
Once uploaded, select the coupon you'd like to use in your ad and click on "Add".
You can now resize, reposition, and animate the coupon element to your needs. On the property panel, you’ll notice a tab named “Coupon”. Once you click on it, a "Destination URL" will show. Here, you can add the website link your target audience will land when clicking on the coupon.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION❗❗
To set up your ads correctly, it's vital to understand the priority of different click layers in the ad:
Coupon Destination URL: Highest Priority - Coupon destination URLs override Dynamic Click Areas and the Landing Page URL.
Dynamic Click Area (Product Specific): Medium Priority - Dynamic Click Areas only override the Landing Page URL.
Landing Page URL: Lowest Priority - The ad will only redirect to the Landing Page URL when no other click layer element is present.
💡 Good to know! It is only possible to have one coupon element in the ad design. You’ll notice that the “Coupon” option will grey out from the drop-down menu if there’s already one added in the ad.
