In Bannerwise it is possible to switch between feeds without having to duplicate your ad set. This helps you to always work with the correct product information. At this moment, it is only possible to change between feeds that are for the exact same advertising network.

Assuming that you have already a dynamic social ad set connected to a feed, the first step is to go to the ad editor.

  • On the toolbar click on "Feeds".

  • You see now the list of feeds uploaded to your account and the one that is currently linked to the ad set. To switch to a different feed, simply click on "Select feed".

  • If your ad set has already been published once, you'll get the following notification. It means that the published ad set will stop from being synched and therefore, product images won't be generated. Only click on "Yes, I'm sure" if you are 100% sure you want to proceed with changing the feed.

  • Time to map the attributes of the new feed. Under the column "New Feed Attribute" select from the dropdown menus the attribute of the new feed that will replace the attribute of the old feed.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION❗❗

  • Attributes of the old feed mapped to an element type can only be mapped as that same element type for attributes of the new feed. "Text" element type attributes can only be replaced by another "text" element type attribute, attributes mapped as "Image" can only be replaced by another "Image" element type attribute and so on.

  • Attributes of the old feed that are not mapped to an element type, can be mapped as any element type in the attributes of the new feed.

  • Attributes of the old feed that exist in the new feed are mapped automatically.

  • Attributes of the old feed that don’t exist in the new have to be mapped.

  • When you're done mapping, click on "Save".

  • That's it! If all changes are successful, you'll get a notification message.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION❗❗

Remember that you must publish this ad set again to guarantee that the ads display the correct information and you receive a new published feed URL to upload to your Facebook Catalog.
