Step 1: Get the feed URL from your Google Merchant Center account, Content

Management Systems or Feed Management Platforms.

Step 2: Log in Bannerwise.

Step 3: In the main hub, go to "Configurations" and click on "Feeds".

Step 4: Select "Add feed".

Step 5: From the dropdown menu, choose "Facebook" and click on "Continue".

Step 6: In the following screen, fill in the required information:

  • Give a name to your Facebook DPA.

  • Select the Business type of your feed.

    • Products

    • Hotels

    • Real estate

    • Automotive

    • Destinations

    • Flights

  • Add your feed source URL (XML or CSV). To know what is supported, check out this article.

  • If you want your Facebook DPA to be updated, set up a schedule by choosing a frequency, time and timezone.

  • Click on "Add feed".

Step 7: Proceed to map your feed. By doing this, you mark what kind of element the reference will turn into when you use it in Bannerwise. For example: when you map a reference as a text element, you can only use Bannerwise text elements for this reference. Read more about mapping feeds in this article.

To start with, click on "Start mapping" on the following screen:

Step 8: Simply select an element or "Do not import" for each attribute in your feed and click on "Done" when you're finished.

You have now uploaded your Facebook feed!

๐Ÿ’ก Good to know: When mapping your feed, please keep these rules in mind:

  • Mapping your elements as an image means that it will display the source of the image set in your feed.

  • Mapping your elements as a text or button will display it as text.

  • Mapping an element incorrectly will require you to remap your feed.

  • Elements that are not used for a visual representation like ids or reporting labels do not need to be mapped.
