Video is arguably the most engaging form of content out there, and as a marketer, your options are limitless. You can reach your audience with instream video ads on YouTube, or outstream ads on an editorial webpage. Our current favorite is in-banner video ads, an effective alternative to the use of static images in your display ads. Their overall performance is much better, whether it is on CTR or engagement rate.

Bannerwise not only supports the creation of in-banner video ads but also provides you different ways of publishing them adjusting to your preferences and needs. Find below the different ways you can publish your in-banner video ads:

1. Third-party tags and hosting your ads in Bannerwise.

This means that your ads will be stored in our secure AWS ad server and you will avoid the hassle of exporting your ads in .zip files. Instead, Bannerwise generates third-party tags. These tags make sure that every ad call redirects to the right ads and, on top of that, if you need to change the ad design in Bannerwise, your ads will automatically be updated in the server making sure your ads always show the right content. This feature is enabled under request and you can choose between two option:

  • Pay-as-you-go: This option lets you generate 3rd-party tags for the ad sets you need. It has a CPM rate per ad call for both video (€0,40 CPM) and HTML 5 Ads (€0,15 CPM) which means that the monthly price will be calculated based on the impressions/Ad calls from our AWS ad server.

  • Yearly impression package: You can pre purchase a package of impressions that includes 15,000,000 impressions. It is pre-paid in advance and impressions will be consumed as and when they are needed. This enables you to have impression billing that is predictable and reduces monthly invoice spikes.

2. Export in-banner video add-on:

If you’d like to download your in-banner video ads and host them externally, you can request to enable the download feature through contacting our Customer Success Manager. This feature is only available for the following networks:

  • Adform

  • Weborama

  • Google Campaign Manager

  • DV360

  • Xandr

  • Sizmek

  • MediaMath

Enabling this feature has a cost of 249,- EUR per month.
