When creating Dynamic Slider Ads, you can add elements inside the Slider Element Group and also outside. The slider group element supports dynamic and non-dynamic elements whereas outside the slider group, only non-dynamic elements are allowed. In this article, you can read how to move elements outside the Slider Group.

The steps below will show you how to move layers outside the Slider Group and what you should take into account when performing this action:

Sorting Dynamic elements:

  • In the image below, you can see the dynamic text element {feed.1.price} is selected.

  • As mentioned at the beginning of the article, dynamic elements are not allowed outside the Slider Group Element. Therefore, before sorting layers outside the slider group, it is mandatory to convert them into non-Dynamic. To perform this action, go to the "Text" tab in the property panel of the element and toggle off the Dynamic feature:

  • Once that's done, you're good to go! To place the layer outside the Slider Group simply click on it and drag it to either the top or to the bottom of the layer panel outside the Slider Group. If you've moved it outside the Slider Element Group, you'll get the notification below. Click on "Continue".

That's it! This is how you can sort dynamic elements outside the Slider Element.

πŸ’‘ Good to know: If you haven't converted dynamic elements into non-dynamic ones, the notification shown below will show up when trying to move dynamic elements outside the Slider Group. To continue, please follow the steps mentioned above.

Sorting Non-Dynamic elements:

  • To place non-dynamic elements outside the Slider Group Element, simply click on it and drag it to either the top or to the bottom of the layer panel outside the Slider Group. If you've moved it outside the Slider Element Group, you'll get the notification below. Click on "Continue".

πŸ’‘ Good to know: Layers outside the Slider Group Element are shared across conditions, which means that any changes made to the element will affect the design in all dynamic conditions. When a layer is moved outside the Slider Group, the following notification in the property panel will appear:
