In Bannerwise it is possible to create Dynamic Ads for Pinterest. The first step to start creating your custom "Pins" is to upload the data feed that contains all your product information in Bannerwise.

First things first. To ensure your dynamic feed is accepted in Bannerwise it needs to comply with one of the file formats shown below. For additional information about feeds and attribute specifications, please check this resource from Pinterest.

  • XML file, find an example of the supported structures here and here.

  • CSV file, find an example of the feed structure here.

If you're reading further is because you have a working feed and are ready to start uploading it in Bannerwise.

  • From the main hub, click on "Configurations" and click on "Feeds".

  • Click on "Add feed".

  • From the dropdown menu, choose "Pinterest" and click on "Continue".

  • In the following screen, fill in the required information:

    • Give a name to your Pinterest feed.

    • Add your feed source URL: XML or CSV.

    • If you want your Pinterest ads to be updated, set up a schedule by choosing a frequency, time, and timezone.

  • Click on "Add feed".

Time to map the feed! By mapping your feed, you are connecting your feed attributes to the correct element types in Bannerwise. Each reference has to be labeled as an element type or marked as ‘Do not import’.

  • Click on "Start mapping".

💡 Good to know: When mapping your feed, please keep these rules in mind:

  • Mapping your elements as an image means that it will display the source of the image set in your feed.

  • Mapping your elements as a text or button will display it as text.

  • Mapping an element incorrectly will require you to remap your feed.

  • Elements that are not used for a visual representation like "ID" do not need to be mapped.

  • If your feed contains "link" as attribute, it will automatically apply to your product images ensuring that each image redirects to the correct link.

  • Simply select an element or "Do not import" for each attribute in your feed and click on "Save" when you're finished.

Done! You are now ready to start building your custom dynamic Pinterest product ads!
