How to prioritize conditions for Social Dynamic Ads?
Drag and drop the different dynamic conditions and decide which ad layout will your products display

When working with dynamic ads, it is possible to create rules and conditions to improve the performance of your ads but, what conditions take higher priority than the others? How can you decide the layout that will display if any product fall under 2 or more conditions? The answer is simple, drag and drop the conditions and define which ones take higher priority than others.

  • From the ad editor, click on “Default”.

  • You’ll see all the conditions created for the ad set. At this moment, "Condition 3" is the one with highest priority since it shows on top of the list and "Condition 2" has the lowest priority since is the last one in the list. To change this order, click on "Manage conditions".

  • All the conditions show now in a list. On the left side of each one, you can see a number added. That’s the priority the condition takes. The condition placed on top of the list is the one with highest priority and the condition at the bottom of the list is the one with lowest priority.

  • To move the conditions higher or lower in the list, hover over one of the conditions and click on it to grab it. Drag it up or down depending on the priority you want to give to it.

  • Once you’re done defining the priority each condition will take, click on “Save & Close”.

  • If changes are successfully saved, you'll get a notification.

  • If you click again on "Default" you'll see that the order of the conditions have changed based on the order you just defined. Now "Condition 1" is on top of the list and "Condition 3" at the bottom.

You're done! You now know how to prioritize dynamic conditions and define what layouts will show in for those products that fall under two or more conditions.
