Third-party tags (also known as 3rd party tags or 3PAS) are basically small pieces of code that load in an ad that is hosted on an ad server. They often come in handy when you, for example, are unable to upload a physical file to your network. You can find common use cases where you can benefit from hosting your ads in this article.
If you want to make use of third party tags, your ads will need to be hosted in Bannerwise.
To know how to export third-party tags, please follow the steps below:
Click on “Manage” in the hub and click on “Ads”.
Click on “Publish” on the right of the ad set you want to publish.
Select the network you want to get the tags for and, in the next step, click on “Get Tags” option.
Before generating the tags, you must add a Landing Page URL to all your ad sizes. Once you are done with that, simply hit “Get 3rd party tags”.
After clicking on "Get 3rd party tags", our platform should now start generating your third-party tags and drop them in your download folder once completed. You will get a .txt file with one tag per ad size you selected.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ❗❗
It is those tags that you will need to upload to the network you will run your ads in, you don't need to download your ads in any other format such as HTML5. Also, don't edit or change anything from the 3rd-party tags. Simply copy and paste them into the network the way Bannerwise provides them.
