You receive Reporting emails in your inbox every time Bannerwise synchronizes and updates with the latest content of your Social Dynamic Ads. This only happens when you set up a schedule in Bannerwise. Reporting emails provide a summary of the changes that were detected in the master feed. Those emails deliver the following information:

  • Amount of products that have been updated.

  • Amount of new products that have been added.

  • Amount of products that have been removed from the master feed.

If the Reporting email you get shows one more piece of information, specifically named “Products Skipped” as shown above, it means that Bannerwise couldn’t update some of the products in your feed. The reasons can be multiple:

  • No ID: Items in the feed are missing an ID. This is a required information that must be present in all items of your feed.

  • Duplicated ID: More than one item in your feed contains the same ID. Note that each item must contain a unique ID.

  • Empty ID: Items in the feed don’t contain an ID. This is a required attribute and all items must contain a unique ID.

  • Empty attribute: Items in the feed miss information in Required attributes. Make sure all items contain information in all required attributes. To know what attributes are required in your feed, have a look at this article.

  • Missing attribute: Items are missing required attributes. To know what attributes are required in your feed, have a look at this article.

  • Feed limit: Items exceed the feed limit. At this moment, Bannerwise supports up to 50.000 items. Items exceeding that number won't be updated.

If you still want all items of your feed (up to 50.000) to be updated with the latest content, please check your feed and make sure all items contain the information and attributes required. Bannerwise will sync with your master feed again based on the schedule you set or you can force an update. You will get a new reporting email once the update is completed.

We hope the information in this article was useful. If there is anything else we can help you with, and you couldn't find it in our help center, don't hesitate to contact us by chat.
