In this section of the Beginner’s Guide, we will explain all there is to know about how to create dynamic ads with Bannerwise.
In order to complete this section, it is required to have a working feed added to your account. If you don’t know how to do this, or you want to know more about what this feed is, first read this section of the guide.
The starting point for dynamic display ads
As you may know, all navigation starts from our “hub”. In order to create dynamic ads, you also start at this main point of entry. First, select the “create” tab. In this section of the guide, we are creating your first dynamic ad - a display ad, that is. It is not meant for social media, so now you have to click on the button that says “display ad”.
Select the type of ads
Then, you’re asked to select the type of ads you’re about to create. Since you are creating a dynamic ad, click the “create dynamic ads” button. The difference between standard display ads and their dynamic siblings is the content. Standard display ads are so-called static. Dynamic ads are based on a feed, and the content they show depends on this feed as well.
Select the type of dynamic display ads
Afterwards you have the option to choose between "dynamic ads" or "dynamic slider ads". If you would like to create "dynamic ads", please continue with the following steps in this article.
Would you like to create "dynamic slider ads"? Then please proceed to this article that will guide you through the create flow of "dynamic slider ads".
Select the feed
This automatically brings us to the feed. If all is right, you’ve added a working feed to your account earlier. This feed contains all kinds of information about your products or services, such as product images, price tags, descriptions and more. Select the feed that you want to use for your dynamic display ads, and continue.
If you don’t see your feed listed here, you’ve most likely selected the wrong workspace. You can change your workspace by clicking on the dropdown located in the middle of the hub page. From here, try again.
Template or blank canvas
In this part of the Beginner’s Guide, we will explain how you create dynamic ads from scratch, so select “Create from scratch” to get started. You can also decide to create your ads based on a template, if you would like to know more about how to "Create from template", please read the following article.
Select sizes
Next, you’re asked to select the sizes you want to work with. The available default sizes are filtered based on the selected network. You can choose from a selection of common sizes and shapes, such as skyscrapers and rectangles (when applicable), but you can also add a custom size. For this, you click on the button that says “Add size”. After selecting your preferred size, click “Continue”.
Insert an ad set name
Give a name to your ad set and click on "Done".
You’ve now successfully created a dynamic ad set. Let's add some dynamic elements in the next section of the Beginner’s Guide: Adding dynamic elements to your ads.
