When you upload your Facebook feed to Bannerwise you are required to provide a URL of the hosted XML or CSV feed. This feed represents your master feed and will automatically be updated if you add new products or make changes to existing products.

When creating your custom dynamic product feed in Bannerwise, our platform will generate a new custom feed including all current products in your master data feed. In order to keep your custom feed up-to-date, you must set up a Schedule during the feed uploading process. Bannerwise will sync with your master data feed at the frequency and time selected to update the custom feed based on changes in your master. This will only take place if you have entered the URL generated by Bannerwise when setting up the data feed URL in your Facebook product catalog.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION❗❗

The schedule set up in Bannerwise should never occur at the exact same time when your Content Management System is synchronizing with the source feed (database).

As a best practice, we recommend scheduling the feed in Bannerwise one or two hours after the Feed Management System has completely finished updating the database.

Synchronizing feeds at the same time can result in a loss of product information in the feed URL Bannerwise generates.

The image below shows the synchronizing chain between feeds and an example of a preferred time difference for synching:

Facebook will be able to synchronize with your custom dynamic product feed if you have set up your product catalog using the upload option “Set a schedule” instead of “Upload once”.

To learn more about how to set up your DPA feed so it synchronizes once a day, take a look at our Facebook product catalog article.
