Not being able to preview banners is frustrating!

This article will show you two options to troubleshoot and be able to preview banners exported from Bannerwise, locally on a Windows machine.

Scenario 1: Unzip and extract your HTML5 download.

  1. Download your ads and find the .zip file of the banner set you have created. It should be located on your disk.

  2. Click on the .zip to open and reveal the individual .zip files of the different formats.

  3. Choose the format you would like to preview and right click on the .zip file and select “Extract”.

  4. After extracting the .zip file you can click on the index.html in the extracted .zip to preview your banner.

Please note that not doing this will result in you seeing a preview with missing elements! Follow the steps to make sure you got it right.

Scenario 2: Disable browser extensions

If you still can't preview the index.html file, make sure you don't have any extension enabled, for example an ad blocker.

That’s it! These are two ways how you will be able to preview a banner locally on Windows without issues.
